About Dan Miller
Hi, I’m DAN MILLER of Spring Valley, MN running for MN SENATE DISTRICT 26.
I’m asking for YOUR ENDORSEMENT at your county convention tomorrow Sat, Feb 21. I’m also asking for YOUR VOTE on Tue, Aug 11 (Primary) and Tue, Nov 5 (Election). WHY? BECAUSE I LOVE MINNESOTA. I was born & raised in MN, a proud father of 6 adult children, come hear me speak about why I deeply care about my SE MN community. I have a strong connection to the land that I farm & steward and the neighbors that I call friends. I’ve devoted my time to serving local youth through church Sunday school, coaching, and advising FFA, 4-H. I have served as a faculty member at the U of M, U of W, Riverland CC and I also taught at Kingsland HS, Leroy – Ostrander HS and Canon Falls HS.

I understand the challenges of raising a large family, while balancing a career, and running a small business, farm, AirBnB’s and rental units. Therefore, my real world experience has prepared me to lead with trust and responsibility so I WILL BE READY TO SERVE SE MN ON DAY ONE.

Candidate for Minnesota Senate District 26
Dan grew up on a dairy farm near Spring Valley and graduated from LeRoy-Ostrander High School. He went on to earn degrees from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Minnesota. Today, Dan operates a beef and crop farm near Spring Valley alongside three of his six adult children.
In addition to farming, Dan has taught high school agriculture and FFA, as well as courses at the community college and university levels, with a focus on agriculture and economic development. He also manages five Airbnb’s properties, works as a business consultant in southeast Minnesota, and holds a CDL, working as both a truck driver and a pilot.
